VocaLingo notifications not arriving: what to check
Usually notifications are off in phone settings, blocked by Focus or battery saver, or the tool doesn't send them. On the web they work only at web.vocalingo.app.

Go through the causes in order, from the most common one. Results don't disappear when a notification is missed: a finished video stays in the tool's history.
Notifications are off for VocaLingo
Open the Settings tab in VocaLingo and look at the Notifications switch. If it's off, turn it on and allow notifications. If the switch opens the phone settings, notifications were refused earlier: turn them on there.
iPhone: Settings → Notifications → VocaLingo → Allow Notifications, and check that Lock Screen and Banners are on.
Android: Settings → Apps → VocaLingo → Notifications.
Focus, Do Not Disturb or battery saver block them
If the switch is on but nothing shows up, the phone may be hiding notifications. Turn off Focus or Do Not Disturb, or add VocaLingo to allowed apps. On Android, battery saver and "optimised" battery mode for the app can delay notifications by minutes: set the battery mode for VocaLingo to unrestricted.
The tool doesn't send notifications
Not every tool sends a notification. Translate audio and Voice Changer finish quickly and show the result on screen, so they never notify. A chat reply notifies you only if you left the chat screen before the answer was ready. Which events send notifications is listed in VocaLingo notifications.
On iPhone, a Live Activity replaced the notification
From app version 1.74 on iPhone, Translate Video, Add Captions, Video to Text and video downloads show their progress in a Live Activity on the lock screen. When the job is done, the Live Activity shows it, and a separate notification doesn't come. Check the lock screen or the Dynamic Island.
You use VocaLingo in a browser
Browser notifications work only at web.vocalingo.app. Allow notifications for this site in the browser: click the icon to the left of the address and switch notifications to allowed. On other pages of vocalingo.app there are no notifications.
Check your email
If a notification about a finished job couldn't be delivered, VocaLingo sends an email instead. Translate Video and Add Captions always send an email when the video is ready. Look in spam and promotions too.
When to contact support
If none of this helped, write through the support form or Settings → Support. Say which tool you used and when, your phone model and the app version shown at the bottom of the Settings tab, for example "VocaLingo v1.74".
