Referral program: get tokens for inviting friends
You get 100 tokens for each friend who enters your promo code, and the friend gets 50. The code works on accounts no older than 30 days.

Tokens arrive the moment your friend activates the code, and you get a notification. Referral tokens do not expire. In the app, "promo code" means the same thing as a referral code: VocaLingo has no separate discount codes.
How to invite a friend
Open Settings and tap Free Tokens in the Balance card.
Under Your promo code, tap Copy or Share.
Send the code to a friend. The shared message already contains the code and a link to download the app.
The same screen shows how many people have activated your code and how many tokens you have earned.
How your friend activates the code
The friend installs VocaLingo and signs in with email, Google or Apple. Guest mode does not work for this.
On the Free Tokens screen they enter your code in Have a promo code? and tap Activate.
The friend gets 50 tokens, you get 100.
Who can activate a code
The rules protect the program from fake accounts. A code is accepted when all of these are true:

Network limit | No more than 3 activations from one network per day |
Temporary email addresses cannot be used. There is no limit on how many friends you can invite.
How to change your code
Tap Edit next to your code and enter a new one.
3 to 20 characters: letters, numbers and dashes.
You can change it once every 24 hours.
Reserved words are not allowed: VOCALINGO, FREE, ADMIN, OFFICIAL, PREMIUM, BONUS, TEST, SUPPORT, HELP.
Friends who have already activated your old code stay counted.
If the code does not work
The app shows the reason, for example "Promo codes can only be activated within the first 30 days" or "A promo code has already been activated from this device". What each message means and what to do: Promo code activation failed.
Other ways to get free tokens
The Free Tokens screen also has a reward for a store review (50 tokens) and the task "Tell about VocaLingo" (1,000 tokens and 1 month of Premium). Both are described in Do new users get free tokens.
