How to find a voice: Library, Community, Favorites and Recent
In Voice Changer and Text to Speech, filter ElevenLabs voices by language, gender, age, accent and use case, play samples and star the voices you like.

The voice picker on the Voice tab is the same in Voice Changer and Text to Speech. The difference is in the set of tabs: Voice Changer works only with ElevenLabs voices, so the other providers are hidden there.

Library or Community
The ElevenLabs tab has two parts. Library is a set of ready voices that loads at once. Community is a much larger catalog of voices published by other creators: it loads in portions, and Load more at the bottom shows the next ones. Under each voice name you see its gender, age, accent and language, when they are known.
How to search and filter voices
Open the ElevenLabs tab and choose Library or Community.
Type a name or a word in the Search voice... field. The cross clears it.
Tap the filters above the list: Language, Gender, Age, Accent and Use case. The Accent filter appears once a language is chosen, and its options depend on the language, for example British or Australian for English.
If nothing matches, the app shows "No voices found. Try other filters or search". Tap Reset filters to start over.
When you first open the tab, the language filter is set to the app language if the Library has voices in it; otherwise it shows All languages. In Library the language list has only the languages of its voices, in Community there are more. Use cases are Narration & stories, Conversational, Educational, Social media, Characters & animation, Advertising and Entertainment & TV.
How to listen and select
The play button next to a voice plays a sample and selects the voice at the same time. Tap it again to stop. Samples are free.
Tapping the voice name selects it without playing. The selected voice gets a check mark.
How to keep voices in Favorites
Tap the star next to a voice to add it to Favorites, and tap the filled star to remove it. The star doesn't change the selected voice, so you can collect voices while you listen to samples. Favorites hold up to 50 voices.
In Voice Changer, if you have favorites and haven't chosen a voice yet, the picker opens on the Favorites tab with the first favorite selected. In Text to Speech, Favorites can mix voices of different providers, and a badge shows the provider of each.
What the Recent tab shows
Recent shows the last 10 voices you started a voice change or a generation with. A voice gets there only after you use it, so the tab is empty until your first run: "Voices you generate with will appear here".
Are Favorites and Recent saved on another device
No. Favorites and Recent are kept on the device where you made them and are cleared when you log out. On another phone or on web.vocalingo.app the lists start empty. Your cloned voices in My voices are stored in the account and are available everywhere: see what a custom voice is.
